I don't no if it is from Elie Wiesel but it was at the very end of the movie/video when the video said that the people will and never should forget all the horrible things that the Nazis did. And that the next generations need to remember this part of history so they can realize the tragedies that happened and the huge impact it had to all the families are friends if the victims. If the all the future generations forget about this time in history we'll never learn from our mistakes and we might make the same mistakes that the past holds. Remembering what happened to the how many millions of people in the past reminds us of all the struggles the people had to go through barely making it out alive. I'm very devastated to believe all of this actually happened and hope that it won't be ever repeated or forgotten. Bye.

I just can't look at all the pictures of all the bodies on the gas chamber floors. I just wonder why the Germans would do such a cruel thing and I can't even believe what Elie Wiesel said was true that the Nazis are human! Its so sad what they did to poor instant people. What did the Jews ever do to the Nazis! Well, bye and see you guys tomorrow in the morning!

I think the most powerful thing he said was " Never shall I forget those flames that consumed my faith forever those moments that melted my heart and my soul, and turned my dreams to ashes. Never." It's very important not to forget things like this. For many reasons like not forgetting the people that suffered and died during that horrible time and to learn from what hitler did. I wonder what it would feel like to be back at Aushwitz for him. I don't really know what I would feel. I think I would feel devastated and free at the same time. I would think of all the people lost and think about what they went through. I would feel free because I made it through. I stayed alive and I was able to come back and show people that nothing is impossible.

Elie Wiesel said that the Nazis took one thing away from the Jews at a time. Their rights, their homes, their families, their names, and sometimes even their life. I still can't imagine how terrible it was for the Jews that had to go through life in the concentration camps. I also still don't get why Hitler would do things like this to the Jews. I know it's because he blamed them for the Germans losing World War I, but he was so cruel! Why would people believe Hitler? The Jews never did anything to him!

it was really hard for me to look at the pictures in the video because of how terrible they were but one thing he said that was powerful to me (ningaaloverr has said a bit of it) is " Never shall I forget those flames that consumed my faith forever those moments that melted my heart and my soul, and turned my dreams to ashes." I hope what the Nazis did never happens again but it should always be remembered. bye, see everyone at 8:25 in the morning!

Hi! The message that really struck me was the same one as twinkletoe and NinjaaLoverr! It is, "Never shall i forget those flames that consumed my faith forever those moments melted my heart and soul, and turned my dreams into ashes." This made me think that the Nazis made his dreams turn into ashes, like his dreams died because of the rotten, heartless, and mean Nazis! They murdered and made ordinary people like them feel pain, torture, and sadness for no reason! I can't believe this! Well, see you all tomorrow! Bye for now...

A moment that impacted me was where Elie Wiesel shows a picture of his family and quoted "Women to the right! Men to the left! Those eight words. Eight simple words yet my mother and sister were being taken away..." This has me feeling so many Jews went through this whole process of the selection. Being seperated from their families. How eight simple, yet cruel, words can just tear your world apart. This makes you appreciate your family and of how thankful and grateful we all are to have our families support us. See you all tomorrow.

Something that Elie WIesel said that had an impact on me was, "There are voices. They cry, they are sad, they warn." I picked these words because I believe where you die is where some of your soul will stay, and I think that 6 million Jews died and still have their souls trapped their in that stupid death factory and have to stay there forever remembering all the pain they went through. I felt like crying when I actually saw how badly the Jewish people were treated just because Hitler wanted to blame someone for all his troubles and all the troubles of the world. When they showed Hitler and the SS guards marching and saluting Germany, I wanted to walk right through the screen and slap them all and make them think about how they want themselves and their country to be remembered. I don't understand why they had peep-holes leading to inside the gas chambers. I mean did the Germans hate the Jews so much that they just "had" to see them die? Anyway, see you all tomorrow! Bye!

I'm pretty sure this is from Elie Weisel, but he said something along the lines of him suffering, and that he should not see others suffering. I thought this kind of struck me because he and all Jews have suffered so much, yet, they are caring and generous enough to feel like others shouldn't suffer as much as they did. It really shows you how cruel these horrible Nazi people have been and how much it has impacted the lives of OVER 6 MILLION INNOCENT PEOPLE! I thought it was so, so sad, and like Oprah Winfrey said, quite unimaginable, and just... there are no words to explain how grim and simply horrible this is. Like RainbowC said, did the Germans just HAVE to do this? What did the Jews even do? Just because Germany lost WW1 and Jews are supposedly not "pure" Germans, it doesn't mean you have to wipe that culture out of the face of the earth. It is also so sad because even though people like Elie Weisel have survived, I'm pretty sure they wake up in the morning every day and are reminded of the horrors they went through, and how much hatred all of the terrible things happening to them showed. I can't even try to imagine what I would feel like waking up and remembering that I was once hated by a whole group of people just because I wasn't the same religion as them or not "pure" enough. So on that VERY happy and uplifting note, bye!

This whole video just made my want to cry. One of the quotes that Elie WIesel said was" First we were deprived of our address, then of our citizenship, then of our home, then of our family, then of our name, then of our live" this is crazy! people have a right to live and a right to have a home but when they took away their names that was horrific! I don't understand how our why people get so angry and want to kill for no reason. I want to scream and cry and yell all at the same time.

My message was "I don't think I should accept other peoples suffering because I suffered." I chose this because he knows what it's like to be suffered and he doesn't' want to believe that that could happen to anyone else. He doesn't want people to go through what he went through. He doesn't want to accept that people suffer in life. It's not fair for people to be treated like that. I have another message it is "They went left and I went right" It just shows you how they got separated with out saying there good byes. The Germans didn't care. But what if the Germans were in that situation they wouldn't want that to happen to them so why should they be aloud to torchure the Jews? Does it really matter if you don't like them or not? You should not be aloud to torchure them.

I really didn't like that movie because I am not really good with sad scary movies so it kinda got to me, a image that made me cry and I couldn't really look at was the bodies on the floor in the gas chamber because it's really sad to see all those people that have done nothing to be dead and to be tortured for five minutes until they die. Also when I look at those bodies I just get so shocked that Germans would want to do such a horrible thing to such innocent people that did nothing to deserve to die.

I don't understand why the Germans made other Jews handle the dead bodies of their kind. Maybe it is because the Germans were afraid of getting diseases from the bodies? I don't know. See you all today.

I just didn't understand why the Germans would torture Jewish people by putting them in gas chambers and making them starve. I couldn't bare to look at the dead bodies being thrown into a pit with no respect. The holocaust is one of the most confusing thing to me like why did the Germans torture the Jews and why did they hate them? For all these year and we still don't know the true answer. See you all soon.

"I don't think I should accept other people's suffering because I suffered" I chose this because he was talking about how other people suffered other than him, and most of the time they suffered more than him, like suffocating in a gas chamber, getting shot, etc. And just because he suffered along with them, doesn't mean he should accept it. It was a horrible thing that happened, and should never be repeated again.

I liked the image that the caption was said that it was EXTREMELY hard to believe that the Nazi's were even human because of how they acted and what they did to other human beings such as experiment and kill them. I like this statement because it just states how the Nazi's were and acted, it's just really powerful and depressing at the same time to me. See you all tomorrow.
