Our annual Terry Fox Run was very successful today, in spite of the drizzle. I did not hear one complaint. Well done all! Everyone worked so hard in Language Arts today. I am truly proud of your stamina! We read/listened to FIVE chapters of 'One For The Murphys'. What a great novel! You 'visualized', summarized, responded to thoughtful questions, and discussed responses in groups. Today, Hillcrest welcomed Flyin' Bob to our school to perform for us. He talked to the students about following their dreams and to always do what they are passionate about. Because he is passionate about his job, he loves every minute of it. He told us about 3 local circus schools that teach people of all ages the different skills that we saw him perform today.
