Everyone did well running/walking around the neighbourhood in support of cancer research. It was a beautiful day for a run, and all seemed to enjoy the event.
In the afternoon, the we had an opportunity to listen to John Aldag talk about politics. He gave an informative, non-partisan presentation on how the government works, the election process, and what the government does for people like you and me. Students asked Mr. Aldag questions based on what they had learned about in class. It was great for them to be able to make real connections to what they have been learning about in Social Studies.
