I think the main difference of rich and poor is that rich people don't feel grateful about a lot of things and poor peope are very grateful for the little things that are given to them. There's a fact that I read from a book before, that people wants more and more things when they become rich. Usually though. This is an example of a wealthy person who could meet basic needs, no debts, and could have whatever I want. It was me. I used to want more and more things when I started to collect certain types of objects, I wanted more and more. Thankfully, not anymore. Here are some statistics/facts of poverty. "Almost the half of the world, live on less than $2.50 a day.", "At least 80% of the people in the world live on less than $10 a day.", "There are 2.2billion children in this world. However, 1billion children are in poverty." Btw, this is my first time writing a first comment.

MY opinion is that your not as rich as you think. you could meet all the basic needs but you could still not have a lot of money. when it said "we have a heated pool and they have lake that goes to sea." I Think that means that the people in poverty can find their own way of a pool or something like that.

My opinion about the poor and the rich is that the poor could be rich and the rich could be poor because the poor has the outside world to see while the rich has their property to see at home. The poor`s perspective could be that they have what the rich does not have and the rich could have what the poor does not have. The rich probably doesn't have the perspective of the poor and how it feels like to be poor.

I think that the difference is the poor appreciate what they have and they. Are a lot more grateful and the boy who's parents were rich thought about it and talked to his dad and. Said a lot about how they have a lot more then he and his family do and the dad was in disbelief because the dad probably never thought about it like that. I really liked that video thank you for sharing it bye

My perspective is that the poor are grateful for what they have and the rich don't care about anything they own. The poor are grateful for having food that they have to grow themselves and the rich just go to the store and get all their food easily.

My perspective between the rich and the poor is that the poor people need and the rich people want. Poor people also make the best of what they have. They only take what they need and nothing more. Bruce wanted all of these things that his cousin had. Little did he know that his cousin was actually poor. Bruce and his family are relatively rich because of their indoor heated pool and their estate lot. They also have a central heating system too! Bruce's cousin had to grow there food because they don't have easy access to food. Unlike Bruce, who can easily go to the grocery store. Bye!

I think this video is about this rich child likes more out in the wild. Because at the end he says that he realizes that he's poor (to him). Also the video shows that the poor is a lot more grateful then the rich. That the poor has more freedom and make all their food them selves unlike the rich

My opinion of the rich and poor is that most poor people need "this" to survive, while the rich want "this" because others have "this". When a poor person goes shopping they would probably say "I need food and water." and walk past all the other stuff. Also mostly the poor people are more grateful than the rich. Most poor people are actually glad that they are living where the rich usually say "I want that, no fair." and complain a lot.

I think the difference is that poor people work harder than rich people. Because in the video it said that "We buy our food, but Hamish and his family grow their own." I also think that poor people use less than rich people. Because in the video the rich people used a heater and the poor people had just a hearth that used less resources.

For me I thinks the difference between poor people and rich people ar that the rich people don't really se the geeat stuff in their life because other people do their work for them for example the maids/butlers make their food and clean their house and for me I find many stuff from just doing those two because I can learn new recipes from cooking and I can find items Ihave lost and can find a good place to put it; for poor people they can find the most beautiful stuff from doing cooking cleaning etcetera. Poor people work harder than rich people and for me I find that unfair to the poor people bacause the rich people have more than can ever need so why can't the rich people just give some of their own money to the poor people so they can live a better life because during the video the rich family just buys their food but Hamish and hos family makes their own food.

My perspective is that the boy thinks that he is poor because his cousin has things that sound much better to him than what he has when he saw what his cousin had on the trip his cousin had things that people think of as 'poor' when to the boy that sounded to a better life for him. So hi would be grateful for everything hos cousin had when his dad thought that was a small amount of things. The boy also said " We have one dog and they have three" and he thought that meant that his cousin was wealthier than him in so many different ways that his dad would have thought about ever so just because you think that " Oh I don't have this blah blah" doesn't mean that you are less wealthier than them and that doesn't matter if you are wealthy or if you are poor. It just means you have different valuable things, because if doesn't matter on how much things you have it matters on how much you need.

Most rich people are arrogant and think they are way richer than other people so I was really shocked when the boy said that he was poor. When I was watching the video I thought that I was rich to even have a bed and a sofa while others can't even afford food. I sometimes see people walk by homeless people begging on the streets without even giving them a second glance. It makes me really miserable to see how much we have and how much the people on the streets have yet we still don't give even a little of what we have up. The richest people in the world could solve so many problems yet they only focus on making more money and buying useless things. Maybe if we spent time on the streets, cold and miserable, then we would know what the people living through absolute poverty go through everyday. Bye!

I have heard someone say "poor means big heart and rick means small heart" in some ways this can be true. Most of the time the less fortunate people share with all their friends family and their community no matter how small what they have is. Some times with wealthier people they want everything to them selves it always about finding ways to make more money or save money not all people are like this thought. I am sure there is probably many greedy poor people and I am sure there are many sharing rich people. I can support my idea. In the video we watched of Severn cullis Suzuki she talked to an orphan who lived on the street and he said " I wish I was rich so I could share with everyone living in the streets".

My opinion is that rich people take to much for granted and they are not grateful enough. In the video it said "we have servants, but Hamish loves to serve others" so it is saying that rich people get people to do stuff for them and poor people do stuff for themselves. " 1/4 people live without electricity that is about 1.6 billion people" considering that some people think that they can't live without google, apps, or a phone it just shows you how much stronger poor people are than rich people.

I think the difference between the poor and the rich is that the poor need things and the rich want things, but we don't actually really need it. I also think rich people don't really show that they are grateful for what they have and the poor are supper grateful if they could just have maybe $5.00. I also think that the rich people are really selfish and keep money to there selves when they don't really need that much so they could donate money to people who really need it and don't have anything.

I think the difference that poor people and rich people have is that poor people need things like food and water but rich people want things like video games and phones. 7/10 house holds have either cellular devices or a game console of any kind. the other 3 do not have either.

If you think about it, we are all poor in some way. Even as "rich" people, we want things we don't have and want things that we don't really need. It's all about perspective. Even poor people can seem rich if you think about it. Rich or not, it's often the poor people who seem happier. They don't have much in life, so when they finally get something, they are filled with gratitude- even for the simplest things. Rich people, however, tend to want more. Is it simple things they want? Things that they really need? No. They want all the super-expensive things that they don't need. They don't have as much gratitude in them as poor people do. This is why when Bruce, the little boy, saw ho Hamish lived - happy and simple - he felt poor. A fact is that more than 750 million people live without access to clean water. Okay, bye!

I think the difference is the rich people has more than the poor like food because the poor people had to grow food and wait until they can eat it and the rich people have a servant that probaly brings them everything because the servant is being paid to and the poor no one is getting paid. byeeee

I think theres a big difference between them because the rich can afford heated pools and the poor can't afford anything like that and the rich isn't giving any money.

I see that rich people are jealous of poor people yet poor people jealous of Rick people. My evidence is this rich kid was jealous of the people living in nature. On the other hand everyone wants to be rich. Which enhances the point that people are never satisfied of what they have.

Being rich doesn't just have to do with money. Some people may have a lot of money but live a poor life. There are more important things and experiences in life than money. But neither Hamish or Bruce are living in absolute poverty.
