I wouldn't call The Boy in the Striped Pajamas a necessarily good movie, but it certainly was gripping and very heartbreaking, especially the end. I couldn't help it but cry. I saw a couple of tears other than mine in the room as well. I will just say that this movie really got me thinking. I have heard of the story, and recently read the book (that made me cry, too) but the movie had a whole new effect for me. Right at the beginning of the movie, I suddenly felt so blank- I couldn't remember anything about the story! I don't know what happened to me there. When the movie finished, it was as though I had never heard the story before and so it was a brand new feel for me. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas wasn't that bad, but just very deep. Okay, bye!

I don't understand the early dismissal. Do we have to have permission to leave at 1:43 and if we don' we stay until 2:43? I'm confused, please help.

I still feel sick right at this moment. It was very heartbreaking, just as TwinkleToe said and I realized how the German army tricked the civilians into thinking that these camps were perfectly fine and enjoyable. Bye.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was one of the saddest movie I've ever watched. It was pretty good movie, except for the end. If Bruno found Shmuel's father and escaped together, it'll be a happy-ending story. I think Bruno was brave but too brave. Also, why did they killed jews when Bruno just got in? That's a bad coincidence.

The Boy in the Striped in Pajamas is one of my favourite books, and I was really looking forwards to watching the movie. I prepared myself for the ending, though it still was, like Mrs. Van said, a punch in the stomach. People are always wondering why Bruno doesn't understand what's going on, but what do you expect? He's only eight! They didn't mention 'The Out-With' or 'The Fury' though. 'Out-With' is Bruno's interpretation of Aushwitz, and 'The Fury' is Furer, another name for Hitler.

The boy in the striped pajamas was the best movie I think I have ever seen because I loved how curious Bruno was. I loved how he wanted to help a little boy. I think it is so cool and really sad how he sacrificed his own life with ought him knowing by helping this boy out. I thought it was so sad when Shmuel said "I am a Jew *looks down*" It is so heartbreaking what they had to go through. I just don't understand why The Natzi's treated the Jews so awful. They treated Pavell so horrible it made me sick to my stomach. And Shumel he was so beaten up, it was so sad.

Every time I think of it now it makes me want to cry and I feel upset, I hated how the solider was treating Pavel and Shumel I wanted to yell at the screen and tell the solider off! I didn't like the ending at all, I wanted Bruno's dad to stop the gas from going in the chambers to save Shumel and Bruno but that never happened and they both didn't make it. I felt like someone just punched me right in the stomach really hard when Bruno's dad was yelling his name and when Bruno's mom was crying in the rain with Bruno's clothes. The more I think about it has I'm writing this it makes me not want to smile and I feel so sad, it wasn't fair, it wasn't fair to the jews, it just wasn't fair. well bye, see everyone tomorrow!

I was going to be in a relay but I hurt my foot so I ended up watching all the events. A lot of people from Hillcrest did so well! Some people can run/jump so long and far! I don't remember exactly how we did over all but I think we did well.

Oh my gosh I can't believe you guys watched The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas! It must've been so hard to watch the ending. Man I wish I was there to cry with anyone else who cried because I knew I was going to cry if we did watch the movie. The track meet was so tiring but a lot of fun. Everyone did their best and I'm so proud of everyone who ran and everyone who came to watch.

The track meet was really fun but I am so so so so so so so so exhausted because I had to do a 1500 (3 laps and a half) and I got 2nd, a 800m (2 laps) and I got a big cramp but still got 3rd, also long jump, and I got 2nd and beat my record and got 3.62m, and 4 by 100 reylay and my team got 6th and a medley and the first two runners have to do a 100m and the third runner had to do 200m and then me, the fourth runner has to do 400m (1 lap) and we got 5th.

To me the movie was very slow and tiring but the end was very sad. even though Bruno wanted to help the kid find his father, Bruno should have took the kids out of the camp and give him food and hid him. That it's. See you all tomorrow! Oh, and I have lice so we might have to do a lice check at school very soon.

The boy in the striped pajamas was good and bad at the same time. The film seemed very realistic to what actually happened in the camps, although the ending was disappointing for me, the fact that both of the kids died in the gas chamber after all that was awful. I'm never going to know why they blamed the Jews for losing the second world war, It seems that they just put all the blame on them for no reason. And the propaganda that the Germans made disgusted me, the fact that they would lie to their country about what actually happened in the concentration camps, burning and killing Jews. And the fact that they said it was "to Make the country a better place" was just really awful. They starved them, got rid of their rights, and took their lives for no reason at all. And in addition, they tell the little kids that the Jews were the enemy, even though they did nothing to harm their country In any way. It was unacceptable that they committed genocide to the Jews for no reason.

The movie was overall a good movie. But i do have one bad thing to say that the ending was not the ending i was expecking i thought the mother and kids were goingmto move and miss there dad to much. So then they would have to move back with there dad. And the gradma die i cant believe that happened she was the best actor by far.

The movie was very interesting. It was very sad at the last part, the only thing I didn't really understand was why they never told him about the camp or what was going on. Was it because they wanted to protect him from the truth?

I thought the movie was really sad especially when they killed Pavel he was my favourite. The movie had a good setting but they ruined it with the ending. The ending was kind of crummy. See you all tomorrow.
