If you did already post, check the comments and make editing corrections. Math: Grade 7s, bring a ball or round lid for class tomorrow. (Very mysterious and exciting). Finish 5.2 sheet. Grade 6 - see Middleton and Wilson websites. All - Check out this website on how to measure angles with a protractor. Be sure to do the 'Let's Practice' part at the bottom. That's the fun part! |

I learned to make the colour look lighter you have to go over it with the first colour then white and the other colour then white and keep doing over and over till you like how light it is. I also learned to go over EVERYTHING with one colour first if your sea creature is one specific colour then apply other colours like white to certain spots. Bye see you all tomorrow!

I learned that with original acrylic paint you can add water to make it more smooth to paint with. And in order to make your color lighter you need to add white to the color. And when you use the brush in different angles the color comes out a little different, and I didn't know that acrylic paint could be so smooth and blendable

I learned from the video that when you outline the animal or whatever you are doing makes it stand out more and bold. Also how to make colours lighter. I thought that video was very neat. Today I had fun in gym. We went through every station. See you guys tomorrow.

I learned that blending takes a long time and I also learned that you can correct your mistakes! I think the gouache is the box paints, but I'm not sure.

I learned how to shade better, how many times you really have to layer the paint, also that when you outline it really makes it stand out a LOT. It also taught me that this painting will take a very long time and that you can fix your mistakes. See you all tomorrow.

I learned that with any type of drawing material you can make a beautiful piece of art just like that whale. shading definitely makes the art stand out even more and gives it a little life. I played the Mrs.Wilson math games, and It was pretty tricky because you have to get it right on the line and get right on the answer. I'll see you all tomorrow. B-)

I learned that you have to paint it the darker part with like a light blue first then you keep on putting on layers. For the light colours you use the same blue but you have water with it so it's brighter. The video was so cool

What I learned from the video is that you add white to the blue so it can look lighter. The video is awesome! Plus kidblog is not working for me.

I found out what gouache is it is a type of paint consisting of pigment, a binding agent (usually gum arabic), and sometimes added inert material, designed to be used in an opaque method. It also refers to paintings that use this opaque method. The name derives from the Italian guazzo.

I learned it can be useful to do layers for shading and blending with certain types of paint e.g. Gouache. I just hope we get small brushes for smaller details. I also hope we have all the colours I need for my painting. I also learned that whales will always be majestic creatures.

I learned that using white paint really helps to put light into your picture. I also learned that painting is not so difficult if you practice. See you all Today/Thursday (aka the new Friday).
