My parents interested in how the plane effects the apple's weight when you pull up the plane the apple weighs more because of the force of gravity and when the plane went down it becomes weightless. I explained this and said that the apple weighs more because gravity is pulling down and the plane is pulling it up. I also explained that the apple is weightless because of the plane and the apple both being effected by gravity. I enjoyed the video and learning about this. Bye!

My discussion started with the basic phrase that most parents ask their child(ren) when they get home from school. "What did you do at school?" I told my mom that we learned about forces and motion and with that she asked what forces are, since she already knew what motion was. "There are two types of forces, pushing and pulling. Basically a force is needed to create motion for an object that is still to move." I also explained what a inertia was, because I knew that she probably wouldn't know what an inertia was. I told my mom that an inertia is motion. Everything has an inertia, whether it is moving or not. I told her about what I know so far but I know I still have so much to learn! Bye!

Me and my mom talked about motion and forces. I told my mom about my question and she said "what if it was a real gun " and I hadn't really thought about it and then my dad said "it has enough forces to push someone back. Strange. Bye 👋

I told my mom about the amazing video we watched on forces and motion. I told her that a force means Pushing or pulling like for example in the video the skooter wouldn't go unless bill pushed it. I told her that motion is like a type of movement like if you were were standing still and then you walked it would be a motion.

My conversation started like this "how come if two forces are pulling each other why only one comes victorious?" My dad said "well it matters which is the stronger force because let's say this force can pull 187 kg and this other force can pull 364 kg which one's stronger?" I said "well 364 kg is stronger than 187 kg so than 364 kg can easily pull 187 kg."

My mom asked me what I learned from watching the video. I learned that everything that is in motion stays in motion until something stops it for e.g if u were to roll a ball across a room it would keep going unless it hits something or someone stops it, or eventually gravity would slow it down. Everything that's stationary stays put until an outside force moves it, for e.g a tree stays still until the wind picks up and makes it sway. We also discussed inertia how how I watched the table cloth being pulled of the table in the Bill Nye video and how the dishes stayed put because they are heavier and the boy pulled it quickly.

My wonder is, is wind a force? My dad replied "can wind move objects?" My answer was yes, wind can move pin wheels, kites, sailboats etc with push force. Wind can also move things with push force like when it forms tornados or hurricanes it can pull trees out of the ground, houses off their foundations, pull water right out of the ocean! Etc. I talked to my dad about the air track bill used in the video and how the object won't move unless you give it a little push also how it could go on forever if it had enough track.

I discussed what we learned in school to my dad, and me and my dad watched the video over and over again because it was really interesting to watch and there is no such a thing like Bill Nye in Korea. After me and my dad watched the video, I learned a lot of things, but I didn't have any questions to ask so we just discussed more about motions like what kind of main motions that people are doing. (However, my dad didn't learn anything)

My dad liked the part where they explain that the world is going really fast, and yet I think 30 mph per hour is fast! We also talked about how an apple has wait when moving normaly and when the motin is free it it ways less but the apple is still the same mass. I also said to my dad "It's intresting that a object will not have motion with out a outside force." he ageed.

I explained to my mom about what a motion is, it is something or someone doing anything physically, and about what a force is, something happening to someone or something unwillingly. I told my mom about something I wondered, "What does it actually mean when someone says "force and motion"? My mom wondered about the relationship between force and motion. I explained it to her that when you are doing something by force you are doing motion at the same time. She also wondered if it is possible to do something without motion. Bye!

Me and my mom talked about the bill nye show and about what we learned. Some of the things that I told her was you can't move a box for example it will only move if something is pushing it. One thing that I was wondering is what is what's a wind force.and something that was cool was how if it was going up it would weigh more because of gravity.but if it went down it would not weigh anything. Bye

I talked with my dad. We talked about if you have two balls like a bowling ball or a tennis ball and you rolled them at the same speed. The bowling ball would roll farther because the surface is smoother than the tennis ball there is also more in inertia in the bowling ball.

Me and my dad talked in depth about inertia, because I wondered about inertia. I learned that inertia is basically going against a movement or force. For example, if you push a piece of paper and use the same amount of strength to push a desk, the desk doesn't move, because the desk has more inertia than the paper. My dad wonders how the same force can be used in different objects and have different results. I referred back to the video where Bill showed us two different balls and used the same force- pushing together. Because one of them was heavier and bigger (had more mass), when Bill used the same force, the objects reacted differently. Okay, bye!

I talked with my dad. We talk about what if two forces were trying to push something different ways. My dad said it would go the direction the stronger force is trying to move it like if your sister was trying to push something down and you were trying to push it sideways it would go sideways. We also talk about what would happen if air wasn't in motion so it couldn't move anything. We talked about how everything would be very still and water wouldn't move and that it could be a good thing because no hurricanes or tornadoes could happen.

My parents where at wirk so I asked my sister instead "What was the most intresting thing you found out in the video?"My sister replied saying"I,found intresting thT the world is going faster then we think, when I was your age I notice that the clouds move fast but I never knew that they were moving way faster than I thought."And I would have asked what you wondered about forces and motion but I didn't have enough time because she had work so I asked my other sister "What did you wonder about forces and motion?"She reaplied I wonder why does the plane affect the aplles weight when it pulls up."And I can't wait for the auction tomorrow!

I talked with my mom. First we discussed thr definitions of them, similarities and differences. My mom had some examples of how force and motion is important and we need it to most things. E.g If you wanted to move something heavy to the side, you would push it which is a force and if you wanted to pull something to you like a rope it would also be a force.

I asked my step mom about the apple and how when it goes down its weightless and how when it goes up it has weight (or the other way around). She gave a extremely complicated answer and it had to do with gravity and the force of gravity and the push that you need to go past gravies push.

I talked with my dad and asked him why in space motion movement is all the same. And than explained about the video of how they drop a hammer and a feather but they both touch the ground at the same time. He said it was because their is no gravity. Bye.

I told my mom about the apple on solid grounds weight and when they were in the plane it was the same then when they went up the weight was higher and when they went down since gravity was pushing on them then scale ready lower. I asked my mom if she has any wonders about motion and force and she said no.

I was sick this day, but my mom and I watched the Bill Nye video on Force together and it was really interesting. My mom remembers watching Bill Nye when she was a kid too. We talked about all the cool things we learned in the video - including Newton Laws - like an object will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external force - my mom and I started bumping into each other while we were watching the movie to show each other how force works. I really like science and Bill Nye makes it really interesting.
