I think the elephant picture is funny, because it says the picture is 70% complete, and 70% is a lot- almost a whole, or 100%, but the "complete" part is less than halfway complete. I understand ratios and percentage concepts pretty well- I think I am ready for the test tomorrow. There is only one set of word problems that I am quite stumped on... it is where the questions list a percentage and a measure (for example, 70% of the elephant is complete) and the question asks if it is reasonable. With some of the percentages, it gets a little confusing for me. Otherwise, I really understand ratios and percentage, and hopefully I do good on the test, because I think I am ready for it. Good luck to all the 6's for tomorrow's test! Okay, bye!

The elephant photo is funny because it looks like the elephant is loading like a computer, but it probably just went in the water and is wet. Yes, I do feel like I am understanding ratios and percents because I can tell you what the difference is between a percent and a ratio, and what they both mean. See you all tomorrow.

The elephant ratio humor is funny because they decided to take a partly dirty/wet elephant as a percentage. I am really not sure but that's what I think. This concept is pretty quickly understandable to me so I am really comfortable with it. Bye!

The ratio of people to cake is so funny! There will never be enough cake! this is funny because most people like cake and theirs not enough to go around. At first I thought the % unit was easy but now we are adding in all these concepts that I've never herd of before so now it's very confusing! Bye see you all on Star Wars day!

The elephant is funny because it looks like one of those bars that fill up when something is loading. I understand everything that we are doing in math right now. It's really easy to convert fractions, decimals, percent's and ratio's into each other.

I found the elephant on the left very humorous. I'm understanding the math really well, I'm just stuck on estimating the percent of a number but I'm practicing on that and getting better, otherwise I'm doing well on my math. See you guys tomorrow!

The elephant on the left is funny because it shows that 70% is painted and the other half of the elephant isn't. Yes, I understand ratios and presents and find it kinda easy but it is also really fun!

Hi! I think the percent is representing how the elephant is dirty then clean! 70% complete means 70% clean! I understand this math unit very well and will not mess up on this math unit like my last one! Well, see you all tomorrow! Bye for now...

When I saw the ratio of cake to people I started laughing because it's so true! Anyone can never have too much cake. It's funny because it's comparing people with cake and everyone loves cake. (unless they're allergic). Yes I now understand the unit of percents and ratios. After today's lesson I know I can do percents and ratios. See you all tomorrow. :) Also the badminton double knock out was so much fun and intense too. My partner and I placed third, yes it's not first but it's the thought that counts.

The elephant picture is funny because it looks like the computer is loading a elephant game and only 70 percent is painted out of 100 percent of the elephant. I feel like I really understand ratios and percent.

The picture of the elephant is funny because it is saying that he is 70% wet and 30% dry. Yes. I am but I was confused with the math today but I figured it out at the end. Short comment. See you all tomorrow! :D

THe elephant one is funny because it only went in the water about 70% so It is only 70% wet. I don't really feel to get about ratios but pretty good with decimals, percents, and fractions.

I like the elephant one because it the most funniest one because 70% is mud and the rest is normal. I'm feeling I like the percent elephant one because first of all it's a elephant and second of all it's suppose to be out of 100% but instead it is 70%. Well, bye!

They are both really funny but I think my favorite one is the elephant one! It's just a funny way to look at an elephant. I understand like 85% of it! In my math class we are learning to cross multiply and I don't get it at all. I know that I have to multiply diagonally but after that I'm lost. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the letter that's I place of the missing number. I watched a Khan Academy video hoping I would learn how to do it but he started talking about algebra!

The joke is that 70% of the elephant is covered in mud so you just have to cover 30% more. I think I am doing well in the fractions unit because I understand what it is ll about and what to do in the different problems. In my opinion I think fractions are my favorite unit in math because I understand it so well. See you guys all tomorrow! Bye!
