I really enjoyed the 'Animal Launcher' activity because it kind of tested my patience skills. There was a lot of trial and error and it took me three different designs to create a machine that would successfully launch the toy even if it would fly a few centimetres. I loved looking at everyone's different ideas coming to life and it was also very enjoyable to watch everyone's gears turning inside their brains. I learned that everything takes time and that you have to use your materials carefully and with moderation because the items you are given will be used quickly before you get to notice. I feel like if I had made the rubber band on my machine tighter it would pull the spoon back further creating more resistance and if I were to pull back the spoon it would spring back faster creating the animal to launch further. Bye!

I enjoyed making my animal launcher because seeing if it worked can make it fun. I tried to remove the cup and use the remaining as a sling shot my animal didn't go far.

I liked doing the animal launcher project and I hope we can do it again another day. I tried to make mine have more leverage but unfortunately I ran out of time and barely had any more resources left.

I liked doing the 'Animal Launcher' project that we did, because we got a challenge to only work with the resources that we had and had a limited time, it was very challenging but I still liked it and had a fun time seeing other peoples work and mine not work but I didn't give up and tried making it better. I ran out of tape, so sometimes the tape wouldn't be able to hold the popsicle stick in place so when I tried remaking my animal launcher I added more tape to secure the popsicle stick in place but other than not having enough tape I think had no other problems with my animal launcher.

I really like the animal launcher because you could see all the different ideas people had and you get to build it anyway your heart desires. I don't think I should have changed any thing because the first time I tried it went really far but after I changed it kept on going I the recycling bin.

I enjoyed the animal launcher activitie because you really had to be creative to create something original and that could throw your animal far. I tried re-building a lot but only some of the times I changed it it went further. Mine only went 2.5 meteres so if I ever do this again it will be my goal to go higher then 2.5! Okay, bye!

Yes, I really had fun launching them. It was fun to see how far it would go with our own creations. I tried making it more secure so it wouldn't fall apart. It worked a lot better than before. Bye!

I didn't like the animal launcher activity, I loved the animal launcher activity because it kind of tested my patience skills and my building skills. I also liked what other people built, there were some very interesting animal launchers. When I first launched the launcher it didn't go very far, so I removed the back pop sickle stick so I could pull the spoon back father. The I tried a second time and it launched farther, so I would say It worked.

I enjoyed launching animals because it was my first and probably last time to launh a hippo! And I also liked it because every launcher was different and unique, even though we all used the same materials. After my first go I tried to make it look cooler by adding sticks on the sides and using string as a tail for my launcher. I made it go further by repositioning the bands, one closer to the animal and one further away. it was a kind of a fail but only by 2 long far away meters, so I used perseverance and kept on testing it and repositioning it 'till it was a success.

I really enjoyed the animal launcher. It was just fun to launch a plastic animal figure. I had fun working with other people in the class. I tried changing things up to make it go further but it didn't go that far - only about 1m.

I really enjoyed the animal launcher thingy, because it was a new and great experience for me. To make the launcher better, I did added string and rubber band to make it stronger, and it did work.

I really enjoyed the Animal Launcher activity. It was very fun. I got a small elephant as my plastic animal, and I'm still trying to think of a name for it. but anyway, who knew that a cup, a string, a spoon, some popsicle sticks, two elastics, and a small plastic figure could create the FUNNEST ACTIVITY EVER! I especially liked the fact of how though everyone was given the same (ingredients? objects?), everyone's brain worked differently and we all created unique and different catapults. It was really entertaining to both build my structure and watch others build theirs. I remember how satisfying it felt when I first finished the catapult and my animal flew high. I can still see the tons of plastic animals flying in the air. This activity was really fun. The first time I tested my launcher, it flew 2.5 meters. I thought maybe I had too much tape stuck to my spoon and so it didn't move forward enough, so I removed some of the tape. The twist is, this actually made it worse. My launcher went from 2.5 meters to 40 centimeters. Immediately I put the tape back on and again- exactly 2.5 meters. So, to sum it up my change didn't really work to make my launcher better. I was sort of disappointed, but then I thought about how much fun I had building my launcher and I felt better. And, when we were filling out the sheet I realized that mine along with most of our launchers had all the vocabulary words we learned. Who knew a small toy launcher could contain so much science? Wow. I am so, so happy we got a chance to build our Animal Launcher. Okay, bye!

Yes, I did enjoy it and had a lot of fun. At the start I had no idea what I was gonna make with the materials but then once I started to fiddle with the materials it started coming together. I thought it was a cool idea and it was something that we would all like and we would still learn things about it like being patient and having a positive mindset and thinking about what forces are happening. I also liked looking at all the other catapults to see what they did differently and what items they used. When I first launched it I was so happy that it worked and that it went pretty far. I didn't really change anything about it when I first launched but the next time I launched my animal I just pulled the spoon farther back so that it could go further, and it worked. So overall it was really fun and successful experience!

I enjoyed doing the animal launcher activity. Because it was really fun to launch the animal. I tried to make it better by putting popsicle sticks on the back of my spoon to try adding more weight on the end of the spoon so it would have more force and it would go farther. But it didn't work out very well.

I liked making the animal launcher because it was cool seeing everyone's creative ideas, and seeing how all of them were different in some way. My animal launcher didn't really work the first time but then I untwisted the rubber bands and added some popsicle sticks and it ended up going farther.

I really liked the animal launchers activity because I t was hard making something with just the matieriels we had. At first I had 3 popsicle sticks on a cup then a spoon on it then instead I used 6 sticks so the spoon would go more straight and I could hit it further.

I really like the animal launchers because you could build whatever you. at first I had a cup and a string then I put a hole at the bottom of the cup the I put a spoon in the cup then tied the string to the spoon then I would pull it. I didn't work so I just got tape spoon and a popsicle stick then I would pull the spoon like a trigger then I would launch the animal.

I really like the animal launcher I liked how creative you could be and I liked how other people's launchers work. I also like that no one had the same as someone else. After I tried it I tried to add some popsicle sticks to sleep it go higher but it did not work.
