"Convection Current" was one of the things about our unit that I wasn't really sure of. There wasn't a specific thing that I learned, but the video helped me understand the current may better, especially the visuals. I don't really have any questions about Earth so far. I am ready for tomorrow's literature circles, because I have a couple of questions and some quotes of the first third of the book that really struck me. Okay, bye!

It's supposed to be "...but the video helped me understand the current WAY better" instead of "may" better. Okay, bye for real!

I learned that when hot materials flows up and out earths plats slid past each other. The only question I have about the Earth is how we know what all the layers are made out of. yes, I'm ready for tomorrow!

The video link helped me further understand how the convection currents function better by showing me how it works and explaining while show cool visuals. I reall wonder how the Earth came to be. People usually believe how the Earth became from their religions, but what about the people who don't have religions. I want to know how the Earth was 'created' from the 'scientific way'. I may or may not be ready for the literature circle because I still need to find an important event. Bye!

From the video I learned more about the convection current. I have a lot of questions about the Earth, to many for me to type all of them. One of them is how do scientist know so much about the Earth when we can't get past the crust. I think that I am ready for the literature circle. See you all tomorrow.

The video was sort of hard for me to understand, the video didn't really tell me anything I didn't know, except for explaining it better to me. I don't have any questions about the earth yet. Yes, I am ready for tomorrow's literature circle. See you all tomorrow.

I learned from the video that when the cold material sinks to the bottom they pull the plates down with it. I thought that was so cool how scientists discover these types of things. I wonder how the scientist predict these discoveries of the Earths players especially the inner core. I am prepared for my literature circle with my questions and events that I would like to talk about. See you all tomorrow (⌒▽⌒)

I learned that the plates move because of the Convection Currents that come out of Earth and into Earth. I have one question about Earth how do scientist know what the Inner Core is made of because it's like the center of Earth? I think I'm ready for the literature circle but I have to check on my important event. Well, bye and see you guys tomorrow.

Well, I didnt really learn anything from the video because we learn all of that in class. One question is, how far does a sinkhole go? does it go all the way to the mantle or does it stop sooner? Yes, I am because I have a question, I have finished the first section and I know what we need to talk about. See you all tomorrow! :D

I didn't really learn anything new because we went over it in class. I don't really have any questions about the earth but I thought everyone's models today looked amazing! Yes, I'm ready for tomorrow literature circle tomorrow and I have a few questions to share.

Hi! I learned that the lithosphere balances on top of the asthenosphere! Everything else I all ready knew. One question that i have is what would happen if the plates never moved, like no Asia or Africa every continent would be stuck together, what would that be like? Its a weird question i know but still i think it would be cool! I am ready for tomorrows literature circle. I find it funny that its called a literature circle because if we actually sit in a circle, I'm gonna burst into laughter!XD Well, see you all tomorrow! Bye for now...

I didn't really learn anything from that video. I have a question as well: how do scientists know what any of the layers are made of (Not including the crust) if they have never dug all the way down to them?

Well, I didn't learn much from the link because I think all she said was review to what we are learning. Questions I have about the earth is; Shouldn't the inner core be the warmest layer because it is right in the middle of earth, surrounded by a lot of warmth? Yes I am ready for tomorrows literature circles and I am actually really excited about it and what people have to say about our book. It was an amazing book and I definitely recommend it to fantasy lovers because it does involve some fantasy in it, but that's all I am going to say. Anyway, see you tomorrow, Bye!!!!!!!

I didn't learn anything because this is what we learned today in class. Why does the cold material have higher density? Yes I'm ready for tomorrow's literature circle.

I learned that convection current makes the plates move. Well, I learned it at school, but I learned more in this video. My question is how do scientists know and predict the inner core and outer core, mantle are made out of and what is the coolest and the hottest. I think I am ready for the literature circle, but I am little concerned because I don't have that much question written down. Anyway, all the models our class made was awsome, creative, and fantastic! I loved curlyfrie's model and how she think of watermelon as the Earth.

I didn't really understand what the lithosphere was but now I know that it balances on top of the asthenosphere. The question that I have is how do they know what is under us because I don't think they can go that deep into the earth? Also why are the layers different sizes why cant they be the same? I'm kinda ready for the circle tomorrow but I just need a question.
