My favourite part of today's mystery powders was guessing the powder because when I get this exciting feeling when I guess and find out the answer. When the teacher said that the fifth powder was a type of clay I thought did we ate something non-editable and could be poisonous to our bodies? I am glad that we are now doing science again because I like to mix things up and learn different things.

I liked tasting the powders. I was not sure what each of them would taste like and it was surprising when I got one I didn't like. It was also surprising when we were told what they actually were.

My favourite part of mystery powders was when I did'nt know what were the powders because Nolan and I got a bit more #5 then we should have, now I have stomach ache. Other then that I liked tasting the powders as we cringe or smile at the powders.

EATING! Was my favourite part because I love food🍔 it is amazing. I was really surprised when I found out that #5 was really clay making stuff. I am glad that we are doing science because I like it better than depressing things in Social.

My favourite part of our Mystery Powders experiment was when we had to try out the powders, and then when we were told what they really were. I liked tasting the powders because I didn't know what each of the powders would be like, and the results were very surprising. I learned that if something looks like sugar and feels like sugar, it doesn't mean that it is necessarily sugar. I learned that the hard way, trying 4 other, not-quite-so-pleasant powders. I thought they were all some kind of sugar at first, but as we did the experiment I knew I was totally wrong. I had fun though, discussing with my group about the possibilities. I enjoyed knowing what the powders actually were, because I wanted to know if our group was right for the most part or not. Our group did fairly well, but we didn't even think that the powders we tried could be stuff like 'corn starch' and 'plaster of Paris'. That's why I love Science. You get to experiment and try new, really cool things. Thanks, Mrs. Van.

My favourite part of the mystery powders was the different tasting things that look the exact same. The thing that's really surprising is that even after I used all my 5 senses on each powder I still didn't get everyone right. I am really happy to be doing science again it's one of my favourite subjects because of the questions and answers that come with it.

I liked tasting the stuff the most because you don't know if it's going to be salty or sweet, so it's like a mystery. Number 5 was the most interesting one because no-one could guess what it was and it tasted pretty bad. I like science better than socials because science is more exciting and has fun experiments.

My favourite part was knowing what the 5th one was because it was so unexpected and interesting. I thought that it was some kind of baking powder or flour. Also, I prefer social instead of science because first, I get to know how much terrible things that are happening in the world and to be honest, I am not a sciency person.

My favourite part of the science unit was probably guessing what the powders were then finding out how wrong we were. I was very surprised when I found out #5 was plaster of Paris because I knew what it was and thought it was really weird. I really like science and I always have so I do prefer this unit over our poverty unit.

My favourite part of the "mystery powders" was finding out what the #5 substance was. I was surprised when I found out it was plaster of Paris. Ummmmmmmmmmmmm is it edible I was thinking to myself when you first told us.

My favourite part was just trying to taste all of them and guess what it was. I was shocked that Mrs. Van made us eat plaster of Paris, and I didn't even know what it was so I wouldn't of ever gotten it. I am really happy that we are doing science because it is really fun and I do like it better than socials because I just find science fun and it's cool to try new experiment.

My favourite part was when we had to taste the mystery powders since there was a chance that Mrs. Van was trying to get rid of us. #5 was the most surprising to me since I was sure it was baking soda. I like doing science more since we get to do projects and experiments. Bye!

My favorite part in science was tasting the food because it was suspenseful when you were about to taste it. I was really surprised to find out what the fifth one was because I had no idea what it was. I I'm glad that we are found science again.

My favourite part was tasting all of the different items Because it is weird how they taste different when you don't know what they are. I am so happy to get out of socials because science is way better.

My favourite part of the mystery powders would probably be tasting them because I really liked 1 and 5 when I tried 2 I didn't like as much until I tried it again then I realized it was salt. When I tried 3 the same thing happened. Then with 4 I thought it was flour so I didn't take a lot of it. I was surprised when I heard 3 was baking soda. I am very glad we did this science experiment thing because I had lots of fun.

My favourite part of the mystery powers activity would be the tasting because some were good and some were bad and you didn't know which was witch and so you had to just try.

My favourite part is when we tasted the powders because I would be the last person putting it in my mouth so when I saw the reactions it was so funny because I knew I would probably look the same once I tasted it. For me the most surprising moment was when you told us that #5 was a powder to make clay because I would never thought that you would give us something like that. I like science because whenever we do social studies I always feel sad because I knew that people live like that but when I learn that 1.1 billion people (I think) live like that and half of them are around my age I just feel saddened, but in science we are doing something really fun.
