I didn't have a specific mindset for the run. It was my goal to run in memory of my late Grand-Uncle, who I loved very much, and in memory of him I didn't stop. I got tired really easily, but I kept going. I'm sure I accomplished my goal but I'm still not satisfied on how much I ran. A little less deeper goal was to run more than walk, which I probably also accomplished. When Mrs. Van told us that Terry ran 42 km a day and that our entire run was about 2-4 km, I was stunned. Just how much determination and stamina can a person have? I mean, we can all create high goals, but will we always stick to it till the end? I'm really impressed and touched at how even though it hurt him so much he ran about halfway across Canada (I think) to raise money for cancer research. Now that is amazing. Okay, bye!

All I wanted to do was beat my number of laps from last year which I did! I did a total of 5 laps, one more from last year. I didn't necessarily have a mindset while I was running, but maybe just to accomplish my goal? I am astonished from how many kilometres Terry ran each day. I don't think I will be able to run as much as Terry did in that amount of time. I am finally finished my timeline. Bye!

I really did not have a mindset I just tried to not think of anything because it seemed to help me with my running and how my pace was. If I thought about it it made me focus on what I was doing and than I would get a cramp. I did have a goal and it was to do at least 5 laps and I did do the right amount that I wanted to do. I think that Terry Fox running that far every day is insane that must of taken a ton of grit and perseverance. But the best part is that out of all the money he made which was around 12 million dollars he did not keep a single penny for himself. well that is all I have to say for now bye.

My mindset for the terry fox run today was to run the whole time, which I did and I was really glad that I did. My personal goal was to get 5 laps or more and I did 6. When Mrs van said that terry fox ran 42 km I was so shocked because in the summer I did 5 km and it was kinda hard so if I had to do 42 km, I could not do that so I was so shocked that terry fox could do that with cancer on top of it, and it makes me want to try harder when I run like doing more laps around the big field when Mrs. Van says to do 1 I want to try and do more because if terry fox could run 42 km then I thing I could at least run 5 laps ir more.

My mindset and goal for the run was to try my best and run for the whole time. I accomplished that goal and I felt proud of myself afterwards. I think running 42 km every day seems really hard! I thought it was a great accomplishment in his name!

My mindset was to keep running and if I get tired jog. My goal was to run at least 3 laps and I did reach that goal. I think it was cool that terry fox ran that far every day like you said in class mrs. Van that would be like running a marathon every day. I think terry fox was very thoughtful because even though he had cancer he ran for all the other people that had cancer as well.

My mindset was to run for as long as I could before starting to jog again without walking. My goal was to get at least four laps and I ended up doing five. I think that without all the money that Terry Fox raised will running lots of people wouldn't have made it thru cancer.

I was thinking of my grandma Olga who passed away from breast cancer. I had a goal to run for as long as I could and I did pretty well I think. On the other hand, Terry ran an amazingly long time and I ran only for a little while and I was extremely tired. What Terry did was an absolutely amazing thing. He ran for a great cause and earned so much money for cancer research. It amazes me how much he ran. He is a hero.

My mindset was to run as many laps as possible for people who have cancer, having cancer drastically changes your life like Jeffrey in the book we are reading. I wanted to run at least 4 laps. I did accomplish my goal. I was pretty shocked to hear that he ran 42 km. He had cancer yet he still did it to help other people with cancer. Bye!

My mindset for the run was just telling myself it was easy and it was easer when I did it. My goal for the run was not to stop, but I stoped 3 times:(. I think it was really hard because when I went for a 23 km hike up a mountain I was so exausted I didnt want to go back down, So it must of taken alot of effort.

I didn't have mindset that was very big. My mindset was that i had a goal it was to get 5 laps and when I was at 2 laps I didn't think I could do it but then I stopped and thought I can do this if I just keep my paste. I said my goal in the last question and yes I did accomplish it! I think it's 2 things. 1) crazy that he runs that far in ONE day! 2) it's pretty cool that he ran with cancer and raised money for cancer by running.

My mindset was focused on perseverance and courage. My goal was doing 2 laps around the neighbourhood and i achieved it was really crowded. I think terry running 42 km per day was a big goal and he would raise money for cancer.
