Homework: Language Arts: Book Commercials tomorrow - GEM, Shadowdog, and ItzBubz. Math: Grade 7 - Read over F.S.A. practice test. Science: Human impact on biodiversity test tomorrow. Read your study cards right before bed! I don't know how or why it works, but you are more likely to remember them in the morning. Leave a comment: 1) Did you learn anything from the Math F.S.A. practice today? 2) Did you have to access background knowledge that you haven't used in a long time? 3)Did working in groups help? |

Again I was sick today and couldn't go to school so I didn't do a Math FSA practice. I just want to say that the picture that mrs. Van posted is really cool, who did that! Bye, that was my comment.

I learned a lot in the math FSA practice. I learned about area and perimeter, and that even using letters and names (question 9) can even be math. 2). Our group didn't really have much time to discuss or anything, we mostly just looked at the pictures. Although, in my head it was helpful to use my background knowledge and so I did.3). Well, I don't think we did the activity right, but I guess it was kind of useful because we did a VERY VERY small talk and the end and in my head I was like "Oh, that's a good point!" That's all. Okay, bye!

Sorry, I think I commented wrong. I was thinking about the books that we passed around. Anyway... 1). I learned a lot in the math FSA practice. I learned about area and perimeter, and that even using letters and names (question 9) can be math.2). I had to access a lot of background knowledge to try to figure out a lot of the questions. I was sure I did area and perimeter before, but my brain was searching for it. Using background knowledge helped, because I was able to recall a bit of when I did something like this. 3) Working in groups helped me a lot because I pretty much had no idea about anything and my group helped me think a lot more. We talked a lot about possible answers, and it all made sense. Hopefully I commented right this time. Okay, bye!

Sorry I was sick today. I wasn't my best for the past few days. I've been preparing for the test tomorrow by using my flash cards. Today I've been very dizzy but hopefully I'll be good and ready for tomorrow's science test. I hope everybody had a great day today. Wow! Those faces made out of Lego are starting to come out great! I'm super excited to paint our amazing clay masks soon.

1) I learned how to do the question based on a pattern. You know, that at today's FSA practice, there was question about A and B to E. I learned how to solve the question like that, solving questions using patterns. Also, I found I have to be more careful reading questions carefully to NOT make another mistakes. 2) I did used my background knowledge to answer my questions! It helped me to answer questions easily and quickly(Not doing quickly, I mean by multiplying quickly..etc.. ).3) My group (Ninjaloverr, GEM, RainbowC) helped me to answer my qustions! They sometimes helped me calculating, or helped me understand what that question actually means. Thanks all of you!

I learned that it would be good to check over my work a few times before I say I'm finished. I did have to use my background knowledge on a few of the questions. Working in a group did help me with the harder questions.

Yes, I did learn something today its that I was expecting the F.S.A. to be easier but I need to study a lot more. Yes, I did have to access B.K. it was for the pie chart. To me working in groups really helped, I just felt like I could talk and it wasn't like I had to keep absolutely silent or anything. See you all tomorrow.

1) Yes I did learn something from the F.S.A. tests today. I learned a lot of things from polar colar, she taught me and my group quite a lot about how to do the equations. Some of the questions wee brain-rattling but it was great practice. Especially for the 7th graders.

Hi! Yes i learned a lot from the practice today! It was a great way to get prepared and to be less nervous for the real thing! Yes i had to use a TON of my background knowledge such as, searching for the perimeter , fractions and turning them in to lowest terms, percentage, and ratios. Working in groups helped a little bit for me but i was mostly working by myself for it i did work with my group a bit though! Well, see you all tomorrow! Bye for now!

I learned that to get the right answer a good way to get it is to check it over after you do the question or after you do the test I also learned how to properly do a perimeter of a square or rectangle. Well it really hasn't been a long time because it was just in grade six, but yes I had to access my background knowledge to remember ratios for question five I think. I guess working in groups help a little because if i didn't know how to do the math my peers would help me, but one person in my group wasn't doing anything and was just getting answer from us without doing that much work. See you all tomorrow! :D

I learned how to use figure out the percentage a little bit but I happy I at least know how. Also I learned how to find out the perimeter. I accessed my background knowledge on the ratio question. Yes working in groups did help a little to calm me down and helped to know that other people got the same answer. See you guys tomorrow.

I learned a lot in the F.S.A practice. I learned how to do area and perimeter again because i forgot. I did have to access background knowledge that I haven't used in a while because lots of the questions were from way back then. So i kind of forgot how to do some stuff. Now i understand. Working in groups really helped because some of the questions i didn't understand and i asked for help and my friends helped me with the test.

I learned a lot in the FSA test. I learned that the test was a lot easier than I expected. I kind of scared myself. I did have access my background knowledge when I got to question #6 . Working in groups helped me a lot. Polarcolar helped us so much. If we didn't get a question she would help us!

I learned the perimeter stuff and I thought it was really cool because you have to do a lot of work to get the right answer. No I had no background knowledge. Yes we worked in groups and I think it was a good idea because I didn't get a lot of it and my group helped me understand.

Today I learned a lot from the F.S.A. practice test but I'll just tell you guys one I learned how to find the perimeter I found out you just have too plus all the sides then you would get the perimeter. Yes I had to access background knowledge by remembering L times W for are I remember doing them in grade 5 or 6. Working in are group only a little bit because most of are group was not here so there was only two people doing the tests me and PenguinPartay. Bye and see you guys tomorrow! :)

I learned a plot from the FSA test! It was super fun and I learned how to find perimeter! Me and sparkles tried working out a bunch of the questions but it didn't work out to great! I did access my background knowledge a couple times with sparkles! Working in groups helped a lot for me because when we work on groups I know that people are their to help and I can ask questions

I learnt lots of things from the FSA practice sheet. I needed lots of help but thankfully my group was there to help me.I used a bit of my backfiring knowledge because it was a bit "foggy" and forgot how to do things. Yes, working in groups helped me a lot I'm glad we could work in our group.

The thing that I learned from the math FSA practice is that it will be more difficult than I originally thought. I did have to access background knowledge that I have not use in a long time. I was so confused on how to find the perimeter, now I know how to. Working in groups helped a lot. There were some questions that toll all of our brain things to figure out. See you all today.

1) I learned that some of the math in the test is harder than it looks. some of the questions really make you think. 2) I had to access background knowledge but it was knowledge I have gone over a long time ago so that made it a little harder. 3) I think that working in groups helps. It makes it easier to talk about the answers and see who got it right or wrong. Anyway see you all tomorrow. ;)
