Today was super exciting (and painfully noisy) because we started 'Mystery Powders'. Leave a message about 'Experiment #1'. Don't forget tomorrow is WACKY WEDNESDAY! I'm thinking freaky hair, mismatched shoes, backwards shirts. It should be crazy! Homework: Math: Play one of the 'Power Football' games using multiplication of decimals. Grade 6 - p. 312 #1-3 and get test signed. Grade 7 - p. 119 #4-9. Multiplying Decimals test Friday. Science: Watch this cool experiment with Baby Powder (a powder). |

I thought it was very interesting and I really enjoyed it. The people in my group thought that the sugar was the salt so we took a bigger taste but it was the other way around. Today was fun see you all tomorrow.

I enjoyed the project. I thought that the 3 one tasted the worst. Everyone looked different and tasted different.

I thought that the experiment was not so fun for me because for some reason I didn't like any of the powders I thought they were all gross. *. :^|

I enjoyed the experiment, but #3 tasted awful! #5 didn't taste to good either. My group and I ate all of #1. I think it was fun experimenting, and trying everything. It was funny to watch everyone's expressions while they tasted the powders!

I liked the experiment! Im taking a guess because Mrs. Van got us to watch a video showing a baby powder experiment did we all taste baby powder. Mrs. Van did say one was NOT edible so was it baby powder? I think one of them is.-EpicfaceManiac

The Experiment in class today was fun! Number #1 was my favourite! I liked the taste, scent, texture and the way it looked. I am 99.9% sure it is sugar but if it isn't, what is it? Now that I looked at it closer it kinda reminds me of tiny crystals. I will be very shocked if it's something else. Although I was surprised no one else in the class liked the taste of #2! I enjoyed the bitter and salty taste of it. I am also DIEING to read my new book A Thousand Pieces of You! However I have been putting myself on a strict diet of the Harry Potter series. Of course my nose will be glued to that book once I finish Deathly Hallows (If you are wondering I am almost done Half-Blood Prince). I have been reading so much I wonder if I will have read FORTY books by the end of the year. I will just have to read and see... (see what did there?). Also you are looking at the girl who FINALLY achieved: a Perfect Town in Animal Crossing, which I am quite proud of myself if I do say so. The other day my Mom was watching the news and people are having trouble voting for a new mayor. It's so easy in Animal Crossing how hard could it be? I mean CLEARLY I am a obvious candidate! Anyway I just hope they don't hire a big dough-head.
