I found a picture of Syrian bombings and I was truly shocked. All of those innocent people in Syria must be having such a hard time, bombing, terrorism, what else will they hide from? There was another picture of people fleeing and I felt bad for those people. I understood them, having to go through the pressure. I cannot imagine Canada like this, and I am sure it would not be a pleasant experience. I feel fortunate and I feel like helping them, but how?

I got the heeby jeebies when is saw the photos. I learned that Syria is struggling to live with a leader who is trying to kill them just for not agreeing with him. I don't think that this could ever happen to Canada because even though we may not always agree with the Prime Ministers decisions, he/she will never even think about bombing us.

I learned that Syrians are having a really terrible life there. I saw one image of a crowd of at least 200 people standing in a bombed city. It said that they were waiting in line for food. That really surprised me because there were so many people. I don't think this will happen in Canada because we have a good and smart government that would never do that. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't bomb any innocent people.

First, I was just searching pictures of Syria and I was thinking why you are shocked. But when I looked the pictures, I was shoked like other my classmates. I knew that the terrorists are really bad and such like vilolent, but when I look the pictures, that terrorists are bombing and holding a gun, I realized terrorists are one of the worst thing, I mean worst guys in the world. And I think terrrorists can't I mean it could not hppen in Canada because Canada is such a big country, and there's U.S. beside Canada. Also there's big armies in Canada and U.S.

I learned in the situation that some people could be this cruel and just mean to do these things to people who do not deserve this. My reaction to the pictures was the mouth over hand, oh my gosh reaction. The pictures were unbelievable! On the news website I found this picture of all these people on those rubber boats you were talking about! More pictures of all these people trying to get away with buildings crumpled and ruined! I wouldn't think this would happen to Canada because of all the things we have to be able to defend ourselves and we have armies that are ready to help in case anything happens so that were safe. Hearing these stories makes me want to get up and help these people and speak for those who have been in these situations and that people shouldn't be doing these cruel things to people old and young. I am very fortunate to be able to live in Canada with freedom and a morning to wake up to and feel happy that I can.

I looked at some pictures of Syria and it was scary and I couldn't believe it. I learned that Syria leader is trying to kill people in his own country that doesn't agree with him. It could happen in canada but I don't think it well.

Hi when I looked up the images I was truly disgusted at the thought of somebody doing that to their own people! What kind of person could just go about their day knowing they ruined and maybe ended thousands of other lives! Thousands of their own people's lives! It's not fair that one person can just go and start pecking people off, forcing them to leave everything behind with nothing but the clothes on their backs! The thought of kids my age having to grow up in that kind of place is terrible! I learned that Syrians are pretty much forced to leave everything behind and start a new life in a different country! I don't think it would happen in Canada we have a democracy and I don't think people would vote for a dictatorship after most dictatorships have gone downhill!

I saw the pictures of Syria and for some of them I felt so bad because at least 80% of them included either a dead body or a ton of blood. I also saw a lot of people trying to escape on boats, and most of the boats were crammed so full you couldn't see any of the deck. All you could see, was the part that touches the water.

Hi! What I learned about the situation in Syria by the pictures is that, a lot of people are dying just because they have a different opinion, so from my point of view these citizens of Syria are trying to live a life where they can choose to do whatever that pleases them, but "Assad" wants to do something else and for this reason people chose to stand up and deny whatever he wanted to do or say, and he starts to kill people that are against him for having a different opinion and while they were fighting Isis come along and they start to kill people, I was extremely horrified when I found this out because now I bet that half of the population could get killed. But thankfully they went to different parts of Europe. I felt very disturbed when I say some of the pictures because there were little kids dead or wounded, I mean how could people be so careless, like what have the poor little children done they should have been sent off somewhere safe, where they could live a better life! No, I don't think this could ever happen in Canada because we get to vote and that makes life easier, what I mean by that is, people get to choose who we think is ready and who we think needs more experience and for me that is pretty straight forward and it is fair because people can speak up and have a different opinion without getting killed. Why are people (dictators) so selfish why can't they think of others too and make everyone happy, after all they all live in one place and everything shouldn't be running the way one person wants it to run!?Bye, see you guys tomorrow!

I learned that the Syrians have a big problem. It looks hard to live there right now. A horrible leader, terrorists and bombings is no way to live.

When I searched up pictures of Syria, I was so suprised to see the buildings and everything just wrecked!! I would hate to be going through what they are!! I don't think this will ever happen in Canada because I don't think our Prime Minister will just turn on us for not agreeing on something!

Hi! I have a problem. I couldn't go into drive or into Gmail to send a picture because it said to verify your information and it was a bunch of different information on it that wasn't mine. When I tried to verify it, and I didn't no how to edit it! I was having a hard time! I have been trying to figure out how to edit it but I couldn't! I will bring pictures to school though in stead. Anyways, when I looked up the pictures I was really intrigued I wanted to no more even though I felt bad for what these people are going through. They are probably thinking if I live in this Country I will never be safe, I will always have to hide. I learned that we are very fortunate to have what we have because most have them there living in Syria don't have as much as we do! I also learned that they have gone crazy because why would you kill your own people I mean not everyone is going to like you! I mean if you want to be the head person you should no going into that that not everyone is going to like you, but you don't need to bomb or kill! I would hope this wouldn't happen in Canada. No, I don't think that will happen because also so many people would be against, it wouldn't happen.

I learned that those people have to always be on the move. I felt and still fell extremely bad for the situation that Syrian people have to go through. I can't imagine Canada being like this. I say that now but anything can happen, but we will all still fight for keeping a democracy rather than a dictatorship.

I can't believe that someone would do something so terrible to that country. I'm absolutely shocked! My reaction to crumbling buildings, people running away, people sleeping out side in tents, and people walk for so long away from the place they called home with only the things they could carry with them, left tears in my eyes. I hope this wont happen in Canada so we can let those helpless people into our country so they will be safe again.

As I was looking threw the images I saw some very brutal picture of people and there homes. I felt so sorry for them because they have no shelter, barely any food and worst of all they are running out of water. Do I think this could come into Canada, yes because something could just go very wrong and could cause a lot of deaths. See you all today.
