Always remember about the soldiers who fought for our freedom. I think it was a brave and tough thing that the soldiers had to go through, and we shall never forget that.

When we celebrate Rememberance Day we remember all of the people who serve(d) our country and the sacrifices they had made to protect us and it is the least we can do to repay what each and every person did to protect and serve their people. We wear the poppy in order to show respect for the lives that had been taken on the battle field and to show that we are aware of what all the people have done for us and how much bravery and courage it must have taken.

On Remberence day we wear poppys to show honour and respect for all the soldiers that risked their lives for our freedom. On the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, on the eleventh hour, and eleventh minute we have a moment of silence to remember those whos lives were lost in the battle field fighting for us.

You know that one red poppy that people try to sell you, but they always fall apart? They are there for an Incredible reason. Tons and tons of soldiers died for us and this is the time that we remember and thank these solders. Many people died for us and for Canada, to save our country.

When people come to visit a sighting, they say, "Wow, what an amazing building!" They don't compliment the pillars that hold the building together. If there is no pillar, the whole building will collapse. This is like Canada. There are many soldiers who have fought for Canada to be the free country it is today. If they weren't there to serve our country, Canada wouldn't be as we know it. Remembrance Day is a day when we honour buildings for their pillars; soldiers for their service. Okay, bye!

On Remembrance Day I go to a parade. My papa is a veteran so he marches with a nice suit/uniform on and he olds a big flag. I'm not sure which flag he will hold because they switch every year. After he marches and we watch the parade my cousins and my aunts and uncles and my Papa and Nana all go out to get hot chocolate! I really enjoy seeing the parade and spending tfimw with my family! On Remembrance Day I always wear a poppy and have a minute of silence at a ceremony to remeber told solider a who fought in the war. Bye, see everyone tomorrow.

We should always remember the ones that go into war and fight for their country and the people who live in it. It would be very scary to go into war and that's why I think the soldiers that go are so brave.
