I can sell something to people like lemonade and donate the money to a company that helps with poverty. I might help the food bank because poor people go there for food. I could also donate some old clothes to a clothes bin.

Hi !I could put on a fundraising campaign to end poverty. In that campaign I would sell stuff to get money and I would ask for clothing, food, and toys to donate to people that are living in poverty. I could also put on my own little bake sale to make money so I could donate the money to ending poverty. I would help the Salvation Army and the food banks. Well, see y'all tomorrow! Bye for now...

I would contact all the billionaires in the world and let them know to donate all the money to poverty charities or they could go to poor places around the world and let them have the money or even use it to bye school's for them. Fun fact. In 2010 4 of the richest billionaires in the world had enough money to stop global poverty 4 times!

To help I can donate for example every month for 1 day. I can also organize sales at our house, and the money we get can go to food banks, charities, etc.

I could donate money to charities and even donate some of my old clothes to people who need it. I usually would just throw them away but some one out there will need it more. I could also donate food to the food banks, the ones that we do at school I could try to donate even more things. I could also help out at the food banks, my family and I could make our own foods and take it to the food bank and hand it out. I could even start my own charity In the future, it may not happen but I could try. I could support a charity that already is raising money for poverty, I could go door to door and ask my neighbours if they would like to donate money for poverty. We could help out when people open up some old places for the homeless to sleep my family and I could give them so blankets and pillows.

I can help people living in poverty by one day making a lot of sandwiches and going down and giving it to poor families. I can also help by at my dance studio have a fun raiser and sell baked goods and that money would go towards children and their families living in poverty. I would help the B.C. Poverty Reduction Coalition because they are trying to reduce poverty in British Columbia.

I would have a lemonade stand or collect bottles to raise money. I would also ask all my family, family friends, and relatives about it. I don"t really remember what organizations there were but I would do some research on the best ones. My mom says she would donate her old clothes and blankets to give to people living in absolute poverty. She also said when she does shopping she donates money to give to the food bank.

I can help by giving people in poverty food or money to buy food and or water. I think they would love to have some food and water and if they have a dog because I saw a man with his dog ( his dog looked really sad and hungry) I would give the dog a treat or the man a can of dog food for his puppy. Within Surrey I might help the grandmothers to grandmothers because when Sean and I read through it it sounded like they might need some help.

I can volunteer to a soup kitchen or a food bank. I could collect unwanted things like cloths or blankets things like that. I could do a stand of some sort. [lemonade, cookie etc.] I could donate money to charities. A bunch of people could get together and do something like fun night and all the money or half or something like that would go to a charity.

I could help in food bank and homeless shelters by contacting people that I know to help me feed the good homeless. I didn't say all homeless because some of then make REALLY bad decisions and could do something bad that could affect a lot. Most homeless need food so I'll try to help them by giving them food that I wouldn't eat. See you all tomorrow. B-)

To help people living in poverty, In little bags I could put a few things these people might need like socks, canned food [food in general] and other things and hand them out to some of the [non dangerous] people living on the streets in Vancouver or somewere alse close by, because Its not only these far away countries that poverty is going o right? I'm sure most of you have driven by some people living on the street's. To help people living in poverty I could volenteer at food bank's. A weird idea that just came to mind is this: Over the summer at the school one day, I thought, in the gym we could do an open stage, so who ever want's to preform can and there will be people watching right? And there could be a few volenteers that are judges that have the numbers one through 7 written on each card. After one person performs the judges will decide on which number they will rank the performer. If the judges held up "3" the each person put's in $3 into a box. With the money that they raise they can send it to charity. That was just a randome thought that came to head, so whatever! An organization I could help in Surrey would be "Surrey poverty reduction plan." My family and I already help an organization called "world vision" and we have sponsered a child and now she is able to go to school. I think that as well as helping people in poverty, we also need to help each other, and the people around us, because even your own class mates could be going through a harder time then you think, even if you may not think so. My dad said that you can help by donating money or school supplies. Bye everyone! See you all tomorrow!

At school we could have a monthly or weekly bake sale, and the money can go to charity. I might help out at the food bank organization. I could start an online donation poll, and donate the money. I could convince my family to have a garage sale, and I know my family donates our old clothes to the places like "Big Brothers" or "Salvation Army". Also, I could write a letter to the Government saying things that they could do to help. I've seen these things on TV where you can help by funding a child's education in 3rd world countries. funding I could put up an Oreo stand (instead of lemonade).

One way I can help end poverty (and I know other people will use this too) Is too donate to local charities around surrey. I could also start a toonie drive at a local sports event or grocery store. These are just two of the endless possibilities used to stop poverty in it's tracks. One last way I could stop poverty is by donating my clothes to charities like big brother or salivation army.

Hi! I can make a fundraising thing for the people who are in poverty. I would do this because we are all human beings and why should have of us suffer and the other half live as normal people. And one thing that really disturbs me is a poor homeless person on the ground asking for money and people ,just walk over them like they are invisible! Is this how people should treat other people? So, us-sally when I see someone who looks homeless and poor I go to a restaurant with my parents and buy them something to eat. I, would give them money but you don't really know what type of person they might be ,like they could be someone who is on drugs and high all the time because they probably don't want to feel the pain that they are going through and just get high so they forget everything and maybe even feel better ,because they do not know what they are doing. One act of kindness everyday small, or big can make a difference and hopefully soon poverty will end and no one has to suffer ,just need people to join in these programs and help.

To help, I could donate to local food charities and clothing banks more often. I could also host a lemonade stand or walk dogs and then donate the proceeds to charities around Surrey. I would probably help organizations out like Free The Children (but that is for other countries too and I already help them,) or groups like Salvation Army.

You can help end poverty by raising awareness in your area. Also by making a small non profit business like a lemonade stand.

I think if we start by helping donate to charity's, foodbanks etc. we can really make a diffrence in the lives of whom dont have as much as others. for example i could give a christmas present to a poor family to help them with a tight money situatiuon, this stuff can really impact someones life in a huge way.
