Leave a comment: Today you were tinkering in the Maker Space Lab with the 'Little Bits'. 1) What was the most interesting part of this activity? 2) What was the coolest thing someone in the class built? 3) What is something you might build with 'Little Bits' that moves? What materials would you need to gather to build it?

The most interesting parts of the activity was seeing if the contraption worked or not. The coolest thing someone made was a tiny music controller.I would use the turning engine to make a car or anything that has wheels.

The most interesting part about this activity was that though we were all given pretty much the same materials, everyone's brain worked differently and we had some totally different and unique creations. It was so cool looking at everyone's creations and how contrasting they were. I have to agree with Swirlyspice on what I thought was the coolest creation some people in the class made. I thought that the music-making, pitch-adjusting invention was really cool. When we were putting our materials together, somehow when we attached the buzzer (which we removed after because it got annoying) onto our line of materials, the invention started moving, which I thought was kind of neat. I could use that as a part of an invention that moves. I could also use some wheels to make my creation move faster. I can't wait to do this activity again (we're doing it again, right?)! It was really fun. Okay, bye!

The most interesting thing is the vouluom thing. I think that the coolest thing was that piano thing. I might use the buzzer to make a moveing thing.

I really enjoyed using the little boys in many different ways because the options were endless. I think the coolest thing that someone else did (beside us) was the people the people that made the cool sounding thing. I don't know what I would do bit it would use Lego or the tinker toys. All i know is that it would be awesome.

I think the most interesting part was was just the satisfaction of creating something and ten seeing it all go as planned. I really liked how one group made a "pirate flag" and made it spin around. I would use the spinning wheel that comes in the little bits box and attach something to it and see what happens, you can do a lot of things with little bits and it is very exciting to do.

My favourite part was when we dicovered what all the bits do. I love what Jake and garret had with the music and stuff, but I also like all of them! I want to build a car that can turn when it senses a wall or an object.

The most interesting part for me was figuring out how to use the wires effectively because we only had 2 of them. I thought the coolest thing was curliefries group in was really cool because of the flag and the lights together it looked really nice. I might build a small car and I would need the power box, a battery, and the spinning machine.

The most interesting thing for me was when I got to make the thing where if you were to handshake someone the button would be pressed and it would make a loud noise do to the noise making thing. The one that peeked my interest was the piano thing that makes different noises if you add different things to it. If I were to do this again I would make a car or something that uses the turning circuit and use lego's as the body of the car.

The most interesting part of this tinkering session was getting to look at all the different modules and figuring out what each of them do. I really enjoyed what the two boys built. It was cool to listen and look at the "sound machine" that they created. The people in my group and I were thinking to make a stationary helicopter but its propellors are the thing that moves. We thought that we could make a base made out of Legos which would be hollow so we could hide the circuit in it. I think we wouldn't need to gather materials. Just the ones in the Maker Space room will be great. Bye!

I wasn't at school today, but I think there where some pretty interesting things. Would probably want to build a remote car.

The most interesting part of the little bits activity was exploring and expirementing with the little bits. I think Jake's dubstep piano thing was the best. If I were going to do it again I would need more motion sensers and maybe some of those wheels to make a little transportation vehicle toy thingy.

The most interesting part was just to fiddle with all the different type of gadget things and see what they could all do and also see what other people could create. I liked Jake and Garett's type of music thing because I thought it sounded cool and was probably fun to put together. Something that I would want to do next time that moves would be some type of car, but we would neeed different materials to do it so I'm not sure.

The most interesting thing about this activity was how adding more pieces in between other pieces effected how the creation worked. I think then coolest creation was the one that made music. I would like to try to make some sort of windmill using the part of the little bits that spins. To make it I could probably use a toilet paper roll and some paper.

I enjoyed building with the Little Bits. The most interesting part was just playing around with them and trying out new things. The coolest thing that someone built was the thing that Garret and jake built with all the sounds which I thought was really cool. I think that next time I would build a car. I would need lego and wheels.

I would make a car and to do that I would need a sheet of cardboard and some tape. It was really interesting and fun I thought the best creations were the ones with the LED tube light.

I liked using the sequence block and making a sequence and using a different block to make the sounds deeper or lighter. I liked everyones creations I thought they were all good. If I could do this again I think I would make some sort of alarm system somehow.

My favourite part of tinkering was making everything move all at once.I really liked the pirate flag idea that one of the groups came up with. I might try and make one of those twist and walk toy things with them. I am really not sure what materials I will have to gather to complete this project.
