I think Gandhi means that poverty is something that is very bad and worse than physical violence.

I think he means that because people are dying and they are getting hurt and punished because kids are begging. I also think he means that because we see it but people don't really think of helping it go away. Bye

I think it means that people in poverty are not getting the right needs so the people are sick and all the money is going to war and things like that and forcing people to go into poverty.

I think Mahatma Gandhi meant that poverty is the worst because it's almost like your getting tortured by not getting food or water and torture is violence.

I think what he means is that when you live in poverty you suffer a lot for a long time, but if you're dead you don't exactly feel anything. So poverty is worse because you suffer instead of feeling nothing.

I think he means that when you don't donate or are selfish it's like killing people because they don't have the things they need to live

I think he means that when people are in poverty they are more likely to die from war because they don't have a home, they may live on the streets or maybe in an abandon field. He also probably means that people in poverty suffer from a lot because people who have everything are just so selfish and won't bother to give a banana.

Poverty is worse than violence because it affects more people. It may hurt physically, emotionally, and/or mentally. Poverty can be prone to anyone just like violence but in my opinion it is way worse. Out of all the types of violence, poverty is the worst of them all because it hurts so many. Bye!

Poverty is worse then violence because poverty doesn't really stop, for example world war 2 has ended and is not going on anymore, but poverty was and still is going on. Poverty affects more people then violence would. In poverty, people are living terribly and do not meet their basic needs, they struggle every day and do not get much help.

Poverty is a violence that can affect you both physically, emotionally, and mentally. It hurts everybody. Physical pain is something that you can, if not heal, then slowly forget about. Emotional pain may not go away, but there will always be more to life than the tragedy that has emotionally affected you. Mental pain might not have a cure, but we can learn how to control it and try to make it better. Poverty isn't like that. Poverty is a harm to all. It can be physical, emotional, and mental violence combined. This is what Mahatma Gandhi means by poverty being the worst form of violence. Okay, bye!

I think what he is trying to say is that when you are in poverty you suffer a lot and it is horrible also it has affected a lot of people and so that's why we need to help and stop poverty.

I think he means that poverty is the worst form of violence because people are being hurt physically and emotionally because they either have woulds or medical issues and nobody helps them get better.

I think he meant that when you live in poverty you don't have anything to eat and sometimes you can die. It is also worse than violence because people get sick and have to live in poor conditions.

I think Mahatma Gandhi is saying that poverty kills many people and people may get PTSD like people do in war. its kind of like bullying people see it but they don't do anything about it.

Poverty is a type of violence because it is killing people around the globe. It hurts people and keeps them from opportunities. Poverty is violence because it takes people's power away. If someone is looking for food or worried about how they will help there family survive they don't time to protest against the government.

I think he meant that poverty is a awful punishment because you might die because you do not have the basic needs to live.
