I chose Sobek, god of the Nile, for my Foil Art. I chose Sobek because he is the god of the Nile, and so he is very, very important to the Egyptians. They depend a lot on the Nile, and the Nile is kind of like the centerpiece of their civilization. This means that Sobek is the god of something that gives a drastic impact on the people. I decided to choose Sobek because it feels like I am, I don't know, REVEALING or HONOURING this important god. I also chose Sobek because the picture had a lot of cool details. For example, he has the head of a crocodile- how cool is that! Okay, bye!

I think my Egyptian god's name was Anubis but I'm not sure if I'm right. I chose Anubis because I liked the drawing and the detail on the picture. I also chose it because it kinda looks like a dog and I love dogs. Oh, and I also found out on the internet that Anubis was the god of mummification and the afterlife. I thought that was pretty cool and strange at the same time. Well, bye!

I chose Anubis because I really liked the design of his head and skirt. Also because the Anubis is really the only god I knew before we started the whole concept of learning about Ancient Egypt and I am more familiarized with what the Anubis looks like. I'm totally lokking forward to working on this foil art again and doing it at home on Monday if I am bored but with a different design. Have fun everyone. Bye!

I chose Sobek, God of the Nile. I chose him because he is a bit more detailed than the other gods, and I felt like challenging myself. Sobek is very important to the Egyptians because the Nile provides them with lots of things like transportation, water for crops, and silt for better soil. Sobek was also one of the gods that I remembered from a book that I read about ancient Egypt.

I chose Anubis the God because his ears made him special and it reminded me of a wolf. I don't know a lot about Anubis but I learned from the internet that Anubis was the god who helped to embalm Osiris after he was killed by Seth. See you all tomorrow :)

I picked Anubis the one with the head of a jackal! There isn't really a reason other than I just really like Anubis and he's really cool.
