Wow! Our first two Current Event presentations were really good! From rainbowC I learned how much our actions affected space (never really thought about that, but now it really seems like a big deal). She took a challenging topic and really made me understand it, especially with the experiment. From ggingersnap I learned how serious hurricanes can be. I knew they were serious and dangerous, but now I really know what all it can cause. From rainbowC's presentation, I really appreciated the experiment because it gave me a visual of what the ripples is all about. From ggingersnap's, I appreciated how she included a lot of pictures, so I could have a visual of what might have happened overtime. My message to Ultrabanana is: I hope you have a safe journey and a wonderful time in Korea. Best of luck for your future. Okay, bye!

Wow I love our first Current Event presentations they were awesome. I loved rainbowC's because she picked such a hard topic to understand but presented so well I did understand and I learned that every time we move we cause a small ripple in space. Gingersnap taught me about how if the temperature gets to warm bigger and bigger hurricanes happen and I liked all the picture example there were .Ultrabanana, I hope you have a safe trip back to Korea.

I learned from Ggingersnap that Hurricane Katrina was the most powerful and destructive hurricanes on the list! I also learns that a simple movement or noise made from us humans can cause a shake in space. Thanks, rainbowC! I thought the two girls' video were very interesting and cool. Hopefully UltraBanana, you will have a safe flight back to Korea and I hope you'll be very successful later in life. Best wishes.-itzme.eg

I was one of the girls that presented so I will tell you about gingersnaps presentation. I think That her presentation was very descriptive and I think it was way more easy to understand than mine. I also like how she added more than just 1 or 2 picture so you could get a better feel of what it was like. I kind of know because my friend from my old school was there at that time! I learned that hurricane can be very serious and may occur when you least expect it. Something I have to say to ultrabanana is: " I hope you have a safe trip to Korea. I know all your friends will miss you!" Okay well see you all on Monday! Bye!

Hi, I learned that gravity ripples are like putting your finger in to some water. I also learned that Hurricane Patricia was one of the biggest and powerful hurricanes. I really liked how ggingersnap used a lot of pictures in her slide show. I could really visualize how dangerous it was and from RainbowC presentation I liked how she used a experiment to show us how gravity ripples look like.

From rainbowC, I saw the picture of two blackhole, and it was amazing. I don't mean that blackhole is good, but if you look at that picture your mouth will automatically open. I learned that the gravity ripples spread out of the presure. I liked the way rainbowC did the experiment to show us easily about that. The presentation of gingersnap was great too. I learned that Hurricane Patricia caused a lot of damages in the Mexico. I think her presentation was great is because she had a good explanations, and she put many pictures to show us! She showed us how much that hurricane caused in negative way. I think I have to learn a lot from them. I loved both of their presentation! Something that I have to appreciate is that I can see they put a lot of effort in it, and they tried to make us understand by experiment pictures, and video. Those made us to understand easily, and to think of some new ideas. rainbowC, and gingersnap, I know that you were nervous, but it was fantastic, and also, exciting issue/event! Break your leg, Ultrabanana!(break your leg means good luck not really like smash your leg.) I hope you enjoy at Korea. I know, that Korea's a really great place to live!

I learned from savannah that hurricanes start from the ocean and then come onto land and I thought tornadoes and hurricanes were the same but now I know they aren't, and I thought her presentation was amazing! What I learned from Camille's presentation was when we move just a inch we are causing ripples in space. Camille's example on putting her finger in the water and then creates ripples I thought it was a good idea on how to explain the concept. Bye!

1) Well, I learned that you need to be confident when you are speaking and not mumbling the word like I did on my Book Commercial.

I was one of the girls who presented but I learned that when we move we make a ripple in space. I thought that rainbow current events was very descriptive but I still didn't really understand it. She did a really great job though. I appreciated that she did an example using water I could really picture what its like. I hope ultrabanana will have lots of fun in Korea and have a safe trip to Korea.

I learned that hurricanes start from he ocean I always thought they started on the land and I learned that a black whole is a ripen space. I really like both of the presentation because they both spoke clearly and they were very creative. I hope that you had a good time in canada and a safe trip home.
